It is a fat dissolving solution that is an alternative to a more invasive liposuction procedure. Lipodissolve has a standard formulation consisting of the primary ingredients phosphatidylcholine (PC) and deoxycholate (DC).
Phosphatidylcholine deoxycholic acid (PCDC) is administered by way of micro-injections which are injected locally into the subcutaneous fat found in the targeted treatment areas. This treatment is currently used in treatments of the unwanted fat found on the body, especially stubborn areas such as the back, abdomen, and submental (double chin) region.
The fat cells that are treated are permanently destroyed. Your results will however vary based on the amount of treatments and the area of the body. It is important to remember that even though the fat cell is permanently destroyed, other fat cells around the area can grow if you do not maintain an adequate diet and exercise regime.
Mesotherapy usually requires a series of anywhere between 2-3 treatment sessions, administered at 4 week intervals.

The ideal candidate for lipodissolve has stubborn fat deposits that are persistent despite diet and exercise. Lipodissolve is not recommended for those with higher Body Mass Index (BMI), women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, those with soy allergies, or firm or fibrous fat deposits.
Most patients experience limited downtime and recover from lipodissolve within a day or two. Normal activities can be resumed after the procedure, but strenuous exercise should be limited for a few days. Redness, swelling, and bruising will resolve within 10 days.
The cost of mesotherapy depends on the amount of treatment you're getting and the number of sessions you need. In general, a single session costs between $350 and $800. During your free consultation Kayla will discuss what your best options are based on your goals and budget.
You can call or text to book your private consultation with our thread expert who has worked with a level four thread expert practitioner in southern Ontario who will review your main concerns of your face or body and what procedure is most appropriate based on your anatomy, concerns, budget and goals. Once these recommendations have been made and you are an appropriate candidate for PDO thread treatment an appointment will be made with Jennifer Williamson, certified PDO thread clinician and RN who will review your consent, medical history and treatment plan along with their medical director.
